Chaotic aliens, New Features and Development

Posted on Sunday 9th December, 2018

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give you a short update about the progress and status of Cosmos Defenders. Our initial plans have changed a little bit and I will explain soon why.

We decided to include more content and new features: new enemies, items, levels and a couple of new game modes that will hopefully make the game more enjoyable.

Some of the enemies we are including are evolved versions of the original ones, levels for the story mode were inceased and with them, new challenges and elements that add variety to the core mechanics of the game.

Our new schedule includes releasing the game in 2019 and not 2018 as we initially planned basically because development time has increased and we are taking enough time to craft every detail and release a good quality product. In addition, there are some other reasons why the development schedule has changed but I will talk more about this in a future post. Just wanted to officially announce that the game won’t be released this year.

In my opinion, including these new features and content will help us deliver a much better experience for players and a more interesting game.  I hope that players enjoy all these elements as much as we enjoy making them.

Before the year ends, there will be another post summarizing 2018 and what it represented for Fiery Squirrel, after that, a technical post sharing a new marketing tool that could be useful for other developers and more announcements about Cosmos Defenders.

Stay tuned and thank you for reading!
